Artist Application Process
How artists apply to perform at your venue
1. Create Application Form
Generate a custom application form with your venue's specific requirements, compensation details, and any special requests. You can add custom requirements like equipment needs, arrival times, or insurance requirements.
2. Share QR Code
Download and display the QR code at your venue or share it online. Artists can scan the code to access your application form instantly. The QR code contains all your form settings and requirements.
3. Artists Apply
Artists fill out the application form with their information, experience, social media links, and sample work. If they're logged in with a TrueFans account, their profile information auto-populates for faster application.
4. Review Applications
View all applications in your venue dashboard. See artist details, listen to their music, check their TrueFans profile, and review their experience. Applications are organized by status (pending, approved, declined).
5. Approve & Set Permissions
When you approve an artist, they're automatically added to your venue's artist permissions. You can set custom permissions, time limits, and access levels for each artist. Approved artists can then create shows at your venue.
6. Communication & Booking
Use the provided contact information to communicate directly with artists outside the platform. Discuss show details, logistics, and scheduling. After establishing a relationship, send them a personalized venue invite through the platform.
7. Track Performance
Monitor application metrics, track which artists are most popular, and see how your venue application process is performing. You can manage multiple forms and track analytics for each one.
