Acceptable Use Policy

You must use TrueFans CONNECT™ lawfully, honestly, and in a way that respects other users. The rules below are not exhaustive — we may treat conduct that materially harms the platform or its users as a violation even if not specifically listed.

We use automated systems — including cryptographic hash matching (such as industry CSAM databases), machine-learning classifiers, and other technical measures — to detect, block, and remove child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual intimate imagery, and other prohibited content, often before human review. Suspected CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. Our compliance function may freeze accounts, withhold payouts, and escalate to authorities without override by commercial or business teams.

You may not post, upload, link to, or transmit content that:

• Is sexual content involving minors, or sexualizes or endangers a minor in any way;
• Is non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexually explicit content posted without depicted persons' consent;
• Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, mass violence, self-harm, or suicide;
• Incites or threatens violence against a person or group;
• Is hate speech directed at a protected class (race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, or similar);
• Harasses, bullies, stalks, dox(x)es, or threatens another person;
• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity/privacy, or trade secrets (see DMCA Policy);
• Is defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, or materially misleading;
• Contains malware, viruses, exploits, phishing payloads, or malicious code;
• Discloses another person's private information without permission;
• Impersonates another person, artist, venue, brand, or TrueFans CONNECT™ itself.

• Creating duplicate, sock-puppet, or fake accounts; sharing accounts; selling accounts; transferring an account without permission;
• Misrepresenting your identity, affiliation, role, or location, including spoofing geolocation;
• Misrepresenting yourself as an employee, agent, or partner of TrueFans CONNECT™;
• Disrupting the Service, other users, or third-party services it depends on;
• Bypassing rate limits, captchas, age gates, geofences, paywalls, refund policies, or moderation actions;
• Interfering with another user's lawful use of the Service;
• Soliciting users to transact off-platform to evade Platform Fees or refund policy.

You may not use the Service to send, request, collect, or facilitate payments for:

• Illegal goods or services in any jurisdiction relevant to the transaction;
• Money laundering, terrorism financing, tax evasion, or sanctions evasion;
• Regulated products without appropriate authorization (controlled substances, firearms or ammunition, tobacco, vaping/nicotine, cannabis where unlawful, alcohol delivered to unverified buyers, prescription drugs, pseudo-pharmaceuticals);
• Gambling, lotteries, sweepstakes, raffles, fantasy contests, or staking, unless explicitly authorized by us in writing and lawful where conducted;
• Securities, investment contracts, "tokens" offered as investments, or anything implying a financial return on a donation, tip, or contribution;
• Pyramid, multilevel marketing, matrix, or chain schemes;
• Sex work, adult services, escort services, or similar services regulated as such in your jurisdiction;
• Counterfeit, stolen, or recalled goods, or goods you do not have legal authority to sell;
• Anything that imposes unreasonable chargeback or fraud risk on the Service.

You may not, except as expressly authorized:

• Scrape, crawl, harvest, index, mirror, or store the Service or its data without permission;
• Use automated means (bots, headless browsers, click farms, OCR pipelines) to interact with the Service in ways that simulate human behavior;
• Submit forms, signups, RSVPs, donations, song requests, or community posts by bot, or generate fake accounts in bulk through Growth or other APIs;
• Bypass, disable, or circumvent rate limits, throttles, CORS rules, IP allowlists, abuse protections, or origin checks;
• Cache, store, or republish data obtained through our APIs beyond what the Developer Agreement allows;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source of any closed-source component, except as allowed by law;
• Resell, sublicense, or repackage our APIs or data as a substitute or competing service.

• Friendly fraud, false chargebacks, and abuse of refund policy;
• Impersonating an artist, venue, station, or organization to collect donations or sell tickets;
• Creating fake shows, lineups, festivals, RSVPs, or workshops to harvest payments;
• Hijacking gift redemption flows, exploiting anonymous donation redemption, or selling unredeemed gift codes;
• Self-referrals, fake referrals, fake fans, paid-engagement schemes, or other manipulation of the referral and ambassador programs;
• Manipulating FansIQ scores, leaderboards, or analytics;
• Coordinated review, comment, or rating manipulation;
• Reselling tickets above face value where prohibited or in violation of the venue's posted policy;
• Stuffing donation amounts to qualify for higher gift tiers without intent to settle.

• Send marketing email or SMS only to recipients who have given lawful consent appropriate to the channel and jurisdiction.
• Honor unsubscribe and STOP requests promptly.
• Do not buy, sell, scrape, or rent contact lists for use on the Service.
• Comply with CAN-SPAM, the TCPA, 10DLC / A2P registration, state telemarketing laws, and equivalent foreign laws.
• Do not impersonate TrueFans CONNECT™, its leadership, payment processors, or other users in any message.

Do not access, probe, or test the security of the Service without authorization. Do not attempt to access another user's account, data, payment information, balance, or API keys. If you discover a security vulnerability, report it to [email protected] and give us a reasonable opportunity to remediate before public disclosure. We do not currently offer a paid bug bounty but appreciate responsible disclosure.

Report violations to [email protected]. We may, at our discretion and without notice, warn, throttle, hide, downgrade, remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, freeze balances, claw back funds, ban payment instruments and devices, refer to law enforcement, and pursue all other remedies available at law or in equity.
